Merci, merci beaucoup for coming last Saturday, so many of you came for brunch to both bakeries. You made a lot of Mom very happy and you made Malika and Daniellle very tired at the end of the day.

Now we are focusing only on graduation cake and wedding cake for the rest of May. But I am also trying to change the menu a little bit and I will let you know as soon as it is official.

French chansons lovers, today is the day to come to our Marietta bakery. The band “Rendez-vous” will be performing between 11 am to 2 pm your favorite French tunes.

And for you the “Mamans” you can suggest to your husbands, your childrens that the chocolate purse and chocolate high heel shoes are on the shelves at both Douceur de France bakeries as well the chocolate lover cake and white forest cake in a shape of a hat.We also are making a fruit tart with a beautifull rose in the middle made of  a light vanilla cream and so much more.

For the French music lover, I have great news, our favorite band “Rendez-vous” is coming back playing at our Marietta location. 
I’m also very happy to let you know that we will be open for Easter brunch between 8 am and 3 pm only at our Roswell bakery.
That will be an opportunity to see our beautiful remodel bakery with a very impressive mural made by a local artiste Scott McBride.

Like I told you before our Easter chocolate cannot wait to see you, I also like to mention every year that everything we sell on our display and on the menu is hand crafted in our kitchen. It is unfortunately something very rare in our world now-a-days and that’s why we are very proud of it.

Let’s celebrate St Patrick’s Day with our Irish coffee mousse cake. A cake made with Irish cream mousse and layered with a genoise soaked with French roast coffee syrup. We are also making Whiskey truffles and a macaron de Paris filled with a Whiskey cream as well. The green and white shamrock or the shamrock happy face will make also a nice addition to your St Patrick party.

Don’t be surprise when you come to our bakeries and you see a bunch of chocolate rabbits starring at you with that look who says “take me home”, it’s normal we have been working long days to get our Easter chocolate ready, you can look on our website to see our Easter cookies, chocolate and pastries. A lot of you have notice that some change has been made in the building of our Roswell bakery. After 2 years of telling that our bakery was more looking from outside has a real estate building than as a French bakery, that we had to do something to get the “French look “ going.

It’s not finish yet but do not hesitate to tell Malika what are your impressions so far…..

And as every year right before Valentine our bakeries are filled with heart shaped “douceurs” from chocolate to bread, from cookies to desserts, there is plenty to impress your Valentine’s.

Bonjour,

 Good news for the fan of  “Rendez vous” the French singing band is making his first show in 2012 tomorrow, Saturday morning at our Marietta bakery.
They are usually playing between 11 am and 2 pm.


Our galette des rois and New Orleans king’s cake are back again and has usual we will be serving them until Mardi Gras which is the 21st of February just one week after Valentine’s day.

Talking about Valentine’s, we have a lot of new “douceur” this year. 1st of all the Confiture de l’Amour is back but with a new twist, Danielle asks me to add something to make this preserve more glamour to spice things up so I thought of adding ginger to it but she had passion in mind so in addition of red delicious apple, petals of rose, raspberry and sugar there is passion fruit.
I’m also using the Confiture de l’Amour as a filling for a new macaron de Paris, it's called of course Macaron de l’Amour.

Meanwhile Chef Pierrick has created a new individual dessert, a chocolate mousse with a vanilla crème brulée and a raspberry preserve inside this heart shape dessert cover with a bright red icing and is as good looking as it is tasty.

Chef Mathieu also is busy but more focus on finding a date by Valentine’s day…..

Cookies, variety of chocolate truffles and more are to come to make you a perfect Valentine.
